We watched KU beat Memphis tonight with our Kansas friends. It was an emotional game and E got to work on her calm breathing techniques in between lots of worrying and some loud cheers.
E & I have caught the March Madness so many times to no avail and finally it all paid off! A Lawrence, Kansas native friend of ours burst into tears after the final second. We waved the wheat and soaked up the win as much as we could 1000 miles away from Mass Street… Rock Chalk! And no, I don’t think our child is going to be named Cha Cha Chalmers (maybe a middle name).

that sounds like a grand old time! i actually watched quite a bit of their game against davidson, but after that i sort of lost interest. still, it makes me realize why people love sports.
