never go home

E & I like how people are starting to come to us rather than us having to go traveling these days.  This past weekend our KC friends David and Jennifer came to visit on their tour of the south.  We watched lots of basketball, had some great meals, and also found an excuse to make our first trip to Time Out:

Actually, only David and Jennifer ate midnight snacks of chicken and egg biscuits… (but the next day E & I found ourselves at SBK).  We loved having the two of them visit.  Every time I see them, I learn something new about music, books, and/or patent law.
