never go home

E, Miles, and I are back from Christmas in Maine.  It was a slightly scaled back Christmas (our family has a long history of wretched excess) and I came home with a pile of books, music, and food (including a bunch of chocolate & 2 loaves of bread).  I am working my way through all of the carbohydrates and looking forward to blogging about the books and music!

Now I am working on keeping E healthy and fed as she gets her stuff together for her month-long trip to London!  While she is gone, I am going to hold down the fort with Miles and get started on school again.  I’ve made several things from the excellent book, How to Cook Everything Vegetarian (tonight was lentil soup with coconut), and I am inspired to cook more this upcoming year.
