never go home

I am on a plane in Tampa (stopover, free internet) heading to Austin and the ACL festival! I already had my first ACL conversation with a couple in the airport (where you staying? what are you seeing?) and I am excited to go hear some music! I’ve packed a cheap digital camera and will share some photos on flickr after the show begins tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I have Year of the Dog on my computer which I started watching during the flight from RDU but it made me too sad. The dog in the movie, Pencil, looks a lot like our neighbor’s dog. I’ve moved on to some light reading about information retrieval systems.
