never go home

I think I have a temp job at my current employer lined up so I will have some income during my first semesters in school! However, now I am realizing that I am going to be much busier in two months than I am right now and I need to take advantage of my slow time to get things done. Now if I can just remember what are those things I’ve been wanting to do. Aside from reading books, walking Miles, and cleaning, I haven’t accomplished all that much at home. Some of the things I would like to do, if I have the time, include:

• buy a guitar and learn some chords (I hope to get Adam to help me pick one out when he is here in a couple of weeks)
• do some overnight hikes and maybe try to camp with Miles
• figure out if there is some sort of volunteer work I can regularly do during school
• meet some of my neighbors…we’ve lived here 3 years and know no one
• learn how to use illustrator or photoshop for real
• finish reading Chess for Juniors with a chess board in front of me

I better stop with the list because it will depress me if I have a bunch of stuff on it that I can’t accomplish. What would/are you do/doing with your free time?
