never go home

We went out on the town with Oona on Friday. She showed us the SFMOMA and the amazing playground at Yerba Buena Garden. We also went to lunch at the museum which caused me pain later. After meeting up with Jeannette and picking up Jonah at his school, we went to Pixar to pick up Adam and head out to Tahoe. On the drive up, I felt awful and had to do “number three” in a parking lot which I blame entirely on my salad and/or apple crumble at the art museum. I recovered enough to perform some Guitar Hero II songs after we arrived… and to snowboard today! The slopes were kind to me but the chair lift wacked me in the back on my last run and sent me sliding down a little hill. Oona and Jonah are great skiers and better than I am at the lifts. Damn that low center of gravity thing. We got to try out our new LL Bean handwarmers which work like a charm and saved Jonah from numb fingers! Next on the agenda: DDR, Karakoke, and more Guitar Hero. Tomorrow, I may brave the lifts again for some more snowboarding while Oona and Jonah speed by me and Ellen shows off on the medium/hard slopes.
