We survived the first day of the festival despite heat and the after work crowd that arrived in the afternoon. It was a pretty full day and I got to see the Benevento Russo Duo, Palo Nutini, a little of Ted Leo + Pharmacists, Wolf Parade, Thievery Corporation, a little of Ray Lamontagne, and Gnarls (expletive) Barkley who came out dressed up as “John Nash and the Beautiful Minds” with bow ties, lab coats, and khaki pants.
