ACL hats

One week until Austin City Limits Music Festival! This past week, I finally got a couple of disposable cameras developed and found these photos (now on flickr) from previous ACLs and other random events. Even though I will be Pop-less and elm-less, it should be a fun weekend. I’ve been stuffing my iPod with ACL bands to get prepared and to narrow/expand my must see list. Some music I am enjoying in anticipation of the show: TV On the Radio (took me a while to really get in to them), Husky Rescue, Elvis Perkins, The New Pornographers (which I’ve owned but haven’t played all that much until now), and Thievery Corporation. You can check out my schedule here. I am also listening to Sufjan’s new(ish) album, The Avalanche. He is playing in Austin but not at the festival and, sadly, I didn’t get tickets. However, E and I will see him on the 21st on campus here in the C’hill! In other news Pop, Dr. H, & B-rad are all employed! I think B-rad is still shopping for clothes for his new job.
