First physical of the millennium

I can’t wake up this afternoon. I think it has something to do with fasting until 2:30pm for my physical. THEN my doctor recommended that I ease off the coffee (and/or spicy foods & bike riding which I said would be impossible…I will let you can google my “condition” on your own) so now I don’t have a way to get over the 3-5pm hump…or the 6pm…or the 7pm. I also need to exercise more (I gained 8 pounds in the last six months which pushed my BMI to 24.2), do my feet exercises, have two moles removed, eat less fried food and/or drink a glass of red wine a day. However, I just don’t think the red wine is going to wake me up in the morning like my coffee. At least there is always tea!

  • oh, oh, my bruddie! no coffee? moles? i’m so sorry. you’ll be delighted to know that pop, mana, isaac, and i all googled your “condition” together. i am tempted to post some google images on my blog, but i’ll restrain myself. are you really reduced to only tea and red wine??

  • I can actually continue to eat what I eat (I got my iron level checked and it was okay). Last night we had a lovely Tofu Pad Thai that Ellen whipped up. I am trying to go cold turduckin on the coffee but we’ll see how that goes.

  • hey, my baby boy ! I was about to send you news that coffee is a health food…(I read it in the New York Times !)

Maybe you’d like to try teecinno? It really is good, especially the “java” flavor !

  • In reference to your employer’s blog rules, what happens when said employer reads employee’s blog stating that employee sleeps all day?

    David’s “condition” for $1000 please.
    What is incontinence?

  • Yeah at least I have a job!
Actually incontinence is less a condition and more of a symptom (which is not an issue for me)…just like impotence (again, not an issue) and other fun words…

  • my symptoms include impermanence, brevity, somnolence, and a constant hunger for cupcakes.
