We went to the art museum again last night. This time we saw Patty Griffin from front row center seats (really any seat at the muesum is a good one and you can always sit on the ground in front of the stage if you want) with Brad, Stef, Haley, and Gretchen. She sounded amazing and mainly played an acoustic guitar with Doug Lancio backing her up on electric guitar. I brought a bigger flash with me but I am not sure if I have the concert photo technique down entirely.
In other news, Brad, Stef, and Bert came to visit this weekend! The dogs had a happy reunion and Brad & I played a successful round of disc golf. We’ll be seeing them in two short weeks when we go to a wedding in Baltimore (KU Math Dept friends are getting married) over labor day.
