never go home

There isn’t much to report on from C’hill…just a lot of rain. Miles went to his second to last day of Family Dog 1. He impressed the teacher with his loose leash walking, his grasp of “leave it” and “wait”, and he started on “shake” which involves holding his paw in one hand and feeding him endless treats with the other. I am finally starting my new job which, so far, involves lots of spreadsheets and conference calls. Ellen and I are trying to eat in (inspired, as always, by my sister) and this week our menu includes many items from the Chicago Diner cookbook including: Thai Broccoli Peanut Stir Fry, Quinoa, Tempeh Sloppy Joes, and Seitan Fajitas. Yum.
