concrete-filled soccer balls

This story reminded me of the time that Chuck kicked something that looked like a soccer ball out on the beach in Block Island and broke his toe. Later we thought that it may have been some lobster anchor or something… In any case, I have been reluctant ever since then to kick an unknown ball lying on the ground and, apparently, there is a good reason why I shouldn’t!

  • hey, fix your link cuz i want to read the story! i remember that cement soccer ball vividly, and i too am wary of kicking any objects i haven’t examined first.

  • I don’t think the culprits should be punished since they merely asked, “Can you kick it?” On the other hand, if they were to write, “Will you kick it?”, then this would be more punishable- by means of bending over, as in the loser of “Butts up”, and allowing each member of the German National team to fire a shot from 6 yards out.

  • yeah, I want to read the story, although i too would never never kick an unidentified object lying on the sand……poor chuck’s toe…makes me wince just to remember !

  • online weight loss…
