I was very happy to read in The New York Times last week that baggy jeans are out and narrow cut jeans are in. However, I am worried that I missed the transition between loose all over to tight all over. According to the article, "skinny" jeans are the new boot cut. These jean companies have names like "Acne" and "Nudie" while I am still wearing jeans called "527." One jean manufacturer says in the article, "It can't get any narrower than this without stopping blood flow." Aren't these things supposed to happen gradually? How did we jump from swimming in your jeans to being winched in to your jeans? What kind of jeans are you wearing (or selling)?

i'm wearing 527s too, just like you! i wouldn't mind some fancy-pants jeans, though. i don't know what kind, just the kind that makes your butt look nice. i am not crazy about super straight legged skinny jeans, on me anyway.
