Austin City Limits Festival 2006
The Austin City Limits Festival is four months away but I am already making plans. The line up has been leaked and it may include: Willie Nelson, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Kasey Chambers, Cat Power, the Shins, Son Volt, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Van Morrison, the Flaming Lips, Kathleen Edwards, Iron & Wine, Aimee Mann, Calexico, the New Pornographers, KT Tunstall, and Asleep at the Wheel...among others. The full line up is 120+ bands so there is always something good. I am also looking forward to getting to Ginny's again to see a real honkytonk. I've got three tickets, now who's going with me!?

no, ellen is not going this year...i also don't know if shannon and sarah are going
when is it? it would be fun if we could talk mark into going... and/or pop! and/or adam. or me. i guess any of us, i was just imagining it as sort of a "boy's weekend out" thing.
oh, so i hear pop has claim to one of those tickets...
so far pop, shannon, and brad all have expressed interest in going so we would need to grab another ticket or two. since they just formally announced the bands, the tickets are likely to sell out quickly now.
no, forget it -- just another pipe dream.

by that i mean it's probably unrealistic to think that he could get away for it...seems too iffy to go buying an extra ticket, i guess.
