Garden!
Mom and Pop came to visit this past weekend and all I got was this new garden! Pop managed to plant nearly all of the Bluestone Perennials "Starter Garden" kit into our harsh, red clay soil. I learned all about the benefits of cow poop (more the better...in a garden) and sharp shooter shovels. We also went to the Raleigh Farmer's Market and picked up some herbs that are happilly planted in pots on the patio. Now I will just sit back, water, and wait for the plants to grow and the flowers to bloom. I will add to my garden set on flickr as these suckers grow!

ooh, pretty. i remember how lushly our baltimore garden grew. i wonder if your chapel hill garden will be like that??
