There is a dog magazine for everyone these days. Beyond Bark (for literate, indie dogs), there is also moderndog (featuring Pam Anderson holding a key chain dog--the magazines bills itself for "urban dogs" aka rats) and then there is New York Dog (featuring the stars of Must Love Dogs on the cover) which has featured stories about "mutts being the new black" and how to put y our dog on an Atkins diet (I've met a cat on an Atkins diet but it had diabetes and so it had a pure protein diet and thus had stinky poop).
